San Francisco, CA (Sports Network) - San Francisco Giants relief pitcher Jeremy Affeldt will miss the rest of the season after cutting his hand. Affeldt was trying to separate frozen hamburger patties at his home on Thursday when he cut himself on his right hand. The 32-year-old left-hander damaged a nerve on his non-throwing hand and had to have surgery after the accident.
