Basketball Betting Lines

03/03/2007 - (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Detroit Pistons will try to get back on the winning track when they wrap up a brief two-game road trip tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum.

Detroit had its four-game winning streak stopped with Friday's 85-82 loss to the Miami Heat at AmericanAirlines Arena. Tayshaun Prince had 22 points and Richard Hamilton scored 20 for the Central Division-leading Pistons, who fell to 17-10 on the road this season. Antonio McDyess scored 17 points and had 12 boards in the loss.

The Pistons, who have just two losses over their last 13 games, have beaten the Grizzlies three straight times, including a 95-86 triumph on November 4 this season at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Detroit, the top team in the Eastern Conference, has won nine of 11 and 12 of the last 15 meetings with Memphis, and is 7-3 all-time at the Grizzlies. It also is 16-5 in the all-time series.

Memphis has lost three straight overall and six of its last seven games. On Friday the Grizzlies were handed a 117-112 overtime loss by the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center.

Pau Gasol had a game-high 31 points and 13 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who are last in the Southwest Division. Mike Miller tallied 27 points and drained a three-pointer in the final seconds to send the game to an extra period.

The Grizzlies are back home where they have lost two in a row and own an 11-19 mark this season.

MySportsbook.com refunds all bets on Oakland, Green Bay and Tampa Bay from NFL week one.

(September 14) – Week one of NFL action saw three teams go scoreless for the first time since 1977.  Another four were unable to get a touchdown and almost half of the underdogs covered the spread. Those three teams saved bettors at MySportsbook.com from losing out completely, thanks to the company’s unique NFL Shutout Rule -- which ensures that if the team you backed goes scoreless, your wager is refunded.

Sportsbook refunded tens of thousands of dollars to customers who bet on Oakland, Green Bay and Tampa Bay, the three teams that stunk up the field so badly that their fans and backers never had a chance to get up from their couches and cheer.  In the spirit of the low scoring start to the season, odds makers at the world’s largest online sportsbook and casino have set odds on how many total shutouts there will be this season.

MySportsbook.com has posted updated sports betting lines for week two of the season.  Ben Roethlisberger’s health status is still questionable, so Willie Parker will try to lead Pittsburgh again as they travel to Jacksonville as a one point favorite.  After beating up on his little brother last week, Peyton Manning will look to lead the Colts to victory against Houston. Indianapolis is a whopping 13.5 favorite in the match-up.

Seattle, last year’s highest scoring team, showed the power of their defense with their gritty 9-6 win in Motown over the ravenous Lions.  They take their act back home to the comforts of Qwest Field where they will face the resurgent Arizona Cardinals.  The Seahawks are favored by a touchdown.
